Land acquisition begins for New Noida, how far will the project extend, will your land also be lost, check

Major administrative action has started regarding the New Noida project being developed as an expansion of Noida. Noida Authority has started the process of land acquisition under Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Special Investment Region i.e. DNGIR. In the first phase, land of a total of 37 villages will be acquired. Of these, 24 villages are in Bulandshahr district, while 13 villages come in Gautam Buddha Nagar district.

According to officials, land acquisition will be done on the basis of mutual consent. The New Noida project is planned to be developed in an area of ​​about 209.11 square kilometers. The authority says that this project will be included in the largest planned urban expansions of Delhi-NCR.

How will the land acquisition process be?

Three Tehsildars will be appointed to carry forward the process of land acquisition and talks with farmers in a systematic manner. Apart from this, a temporary office of the project will also be opened near the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, from where land acquisition and other administrative works will be monitored.

How much money will be received in land acquisition?

Noida Authority has also decided the initial proposal for compensation for the farmers. According to officials, farmers will be given compensation at the rate of Rs 4300 per square metre. Along with this, a provision of giving additional amount of Rs 3800 per square meter and seven percent developed plot has also been made.

Which villages have been included?

The villages of Bulandshahr district that have been included in the first phase include Birondi Fauladpur, Birondi Tezpur, Chola, Dimri Adilpur, Gopalpur, Hridaypur, Jokhabad, Kaithra, Kanwara, Kadu, Kishanpur, Luhakar, Moradabad, Nagla Barodha, Nawada, Rajarampur, Rajpur Khurd, Sabdalpur, Salempur Kayastha, Sanwali, Shahpur. Kalan, Serpur and Sikra villages are included.

Whereas in Gautam Buddha Nagar district, Anandpur, Bairangpur alias Nai Basti, Beel Akbarpur, Chhaysa, Dayanagar, Girirajpur, Kot, Milak Khandera, Nagla Kamru, Nagla Nyansukh, Nekrampur alias Vishnupur, Phulpur and Saintali villages have been included in the first phase.

When was the master plan approved?

The master plan of DNGIR was approved in October 2024. Now the authority will verify the land and construction on the basis of satellite images of that time. Officials say that construction done till October 2024 will be considered legal, whereas construction without permission after that can be considered illegal.

Under this, Khasra number based satellite images of 81 villages will be prepared. In this, complete records of land, construction, roads, parks, schools, colleges, industrial areas, residential areas and other utility services of every village will be prepared. Besides, measurement of the land will also be done so that there is no dispute of any kind in future.

The authority claims that the New Noida project will promote industrial investment in Delhi-NCR. With this, new employment opportunities will be created and modern infrastructure will be developed. The administration is considering it as one of the biggest urban development projects of the region in the coming years.
