Hybrid Sedan: Honda’s next generation hybrid sedan introduced, know advanced features and mileage
Hybrid: Sedan Honda has unveiled the prototype of its next-generation hybrid sedan during the 2026 global press conference held in Japan. The company says that this new sedan will be based on a completely new hybrid system and modern platform. It is likely to be launched in North America markets by 2030. With new technology and better driving experience, this new sedan from Honda is being considered a great example of future smart mobility.
New hybrid system and more mileage
According to Honda, its new models coming from 2027 will use the new generation twin-motor hybrid system. The company claims that this new technology will improve engine efficiency and more than 10 percent improvement will be seen in mileage. Along with this, the manufacturing cost of the system will reduce by about 30 percent. The new electric AWD unit has also been specially developed to further enhance the driving experience by making motor control more precise.
New ADAS technology will be available
Honda has informed that from 2028, its hybrid models will be provided with the next generation ADAS technology developed by the company. This system will help in better controlling acceleration and steering on expressways and normal roads based on the route entered into the navigation by the driver.
Sporty design and premium look
The new hybrid sedan has been designed in a fastback style, which appears to be largely inspired by the Accord. Its front has split LED headlights, large air inlets and a new Honda logo. The side profile features sporty alloy wheels, sloping roofline and raised wheel arches.
What will be launched in India?
Although the chances of this new hybrid sedan coming to India are less, but Honda India is preparing to launch a new compact SUV and midsize SUV by 2028. The company plans to introduce 10 new models in the Indian market by 2030, which will include 7 SUVs.
