It is believed that after the increase in the prices of Sudha milk, other companies may also increase the prices of their milk soon.
Amid the rising price of milk, it is a matter of relief that at present there has been no change in the prices of paneer, khova, chhena and the sweets made from them. This means consumers will not have to pay extra money for these products right now.
Confed officials said the change in prices had become necessary due to increase in production and operating costs. He cited huge increases in animal feed prices and transportation costs, which have significantly increased input costs. Officials further said that for the last few years, the dairy sector has been facing continuously rising costs, due to which retail prices have to be changed from time to time. It is noteworthy that this is the third change in prices made by Sudha in the last two years. Earlier, on May 21, 2025, the cooperative had increased milk prices in Bihar by Rs 2 per liter.
