Open lottery for youth in Uttarakhand! CM Dhami distributed appointment letters to 276 candidates, said – ‘Now you will get government job only on merit’
Monday was a very memorable and full of happiness for the unemployed youth of Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters for government jobs to 276 promising youth of the state during a grand function organized at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office. All these candidates have been selected under Town and Country Planning Department, Technical Education Department, Women Empowerment and Child Development Department and Forest Department.
On this very special occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated all the newly appointed youth and wished them a wonderful and bright future. As soon as the appointment letters came in hand, a wave of happiness ran on the faces of the youth and their families.
Know which department got how many new government employees
Among these appointment letters distributed by CM Dhami, the highest number was from the Forest Department. Out of total 276 selected candidates, 109 youth have got jobs under the Forest Department. Apart from this, joining letters have been given to 88 candidates under the Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, 65 youth under the Technical Education Department and 14 candidates selected in the Town and Country Planning Department.
Years of hard work and patience paid off, the country’s strictest law helped
Addressing the function, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that getting the appointment letter today is not only a big achievement, but it is the beginning of a new and bigger responsibility to serve the general public. He said emotionally that today these youth have achieved this great success only after years of hard work, strict discipline, struggle and patience. This is the biggest proof of his hidden talent, unwavering confidence and dedication.
The Chief Minister said in strong words that our government has taken several revolutionary steps to make the recruitment processes in the state completely transparent, fair and accountable. The country’s strictest ‘anti-copying law’ has been implemented in the state to eradicate the traces of copying mafias and corruption from the state. The result of this is that today the only basis for the success of the youth of Uttarakhand is their ability and merit alone.
Gave away 33 thousand government jobs in four and a half years
While presenting the report card of his government, the Chief Minister shared a big figure. He said that within the last four and a half years, historic work has been done to connect about 33 thousand youth of the state with different government services on the basis of complete transparency and merit.
CM Dhami expressed hope from all the new government employees that they will always keep public service at the forefront on the basis of their efficiency, complete honesty, sensitivity and their devotion to duty. He said that only when capable, honest and hardworking youth come forward within the system, the real benefits of the government’s development schemes reach the people standing at the last rung of the society.
Youth of every department will have an important role
The Chief Minister underlined the responsibilities of the youth selected in different departments. He said that the new employees of the Town and Country Planning Department will contribute to the planned development of the state, the youth associated with the Technical Education Department will give a new and modern direction to technical education and skill development. At the same time, the employees of the Women Empowerment and Child Development Department will handle the important tasks related to the welfare of mothers and children, while the new youth coming to the Forest Department will play an important role in saving the precious forest wealth and biodiversity of Uttarakhand.
Big resolution of ‘Developed Uttarakhand-2047’, emphasis on work more than promises
Referring to the Prime Minister of the country, CM Dhami said that under the strong leadership of PM Narendra Modi, today the entire country is moving forward rapidly with the big resolution of ‘Developed India-2047’. Our state government is also working day and night on similar lines with the resolution of ‘Developed Uttarakhand’. Today, roads and infrastructure are developing rapidly in the state, huge investments are coming and new employment opportunities are being created for the youth.
In the end, the Chief Minister said that the State Government is taking forward a new work culture where the utmost importance is given to delivering work rather than just making announcements, bringing results on the ground rather than making false promises and rising above politics and giving only development the utmost importance. He expressed full confidence that all the new youth will perform their duties with full devotion.

During this dignified and big function, Cabinet Ministers Shri Subodh Uniyal, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Smt. Rekha Arya and Shri Khajan Das were prominently present on the stage along with the Chief Minister. Apart from these, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Naresh Bansal, MLA Mrs. Savita Kapoor, Principal Secretary Shri R.K. Sudhanshu, Secretary Dr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha, Shri Chandresh Kumar, Dr. R. Top officials of various departments including Rajesh Kumar were also present.
