Seminar and tree plantation in ALY College on World Environment Day

Triveniganj, Supaul. On the occasion of World Environment Day, a seminar and tree plantation program on the subject of environmental protection and safety was organized in Anuplal Yadav College under the joint aegis of the first, second and third units of the National Service Scheme on Friday. The program was presided over by College Principal Dr. Hemant Kumar, while NSS Program Officer cum District Nodal Officer Prof. Vidyanand Yadav did it. In his address, Principal Dr. Hemant Kumar said that World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5 June with the aim of making people aware about environmental protection. He said that it is not possible to imagine life on earth without trees and plants.The balance of the environment is deteriorating due to increasing water, air, noise and light pollution and deforestation. In such a situation, tree plantation and environmental protection is the biggest need of the hour. Program Officer Prof. Vidyanand Yadav said that in the blind race of modernity and development, humans are continuously harming nature. He said that problems like climate change, global warming, decreasing groundwater level, floods and droughts are the result of environmental imbalance. On this occasion, saplings were also planted in the college campus. In the program Prof. Arun Kumar, Prof. Devnarayan Yadav, Dr. Arvind Kumar, Dr. Sadanand Yadav, Prof. Tarun Kumar Singh, Prof. Vinod Kumar Vimal, Prof. Rajkumar Yadav, Prof. Kulanand Yadav, Prof. Rakesh Kumar, Prof. Kumari Poonam, Prof. College teachers, non-teaching staff and a large number of NSS volunteers including Shambhu Yadav were present.
