TMC NWC Meet: Mamata Banerjee formed the National Working Committee, made Chandrima Bhattacharya the state president and Kalyan Banerjee the national spokesperson.
Kolkata. Trinamool Congress (TMC), which is struggling with internal conflict after losing power in West Bengal, on Friday formed a fresh National Working Committee. Party supremo and former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced her new National Working Committee. Many important decisions regarding the organization were taken in the meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The party has given place to new and old faces in its team.

Many important decisions in the National Working Committee meeting
Abhishek Banerjee will remain the national general secretary of the party. To assist him, Derek O’Brien and Dola Sen have been made national joint secretaries. Chandrima Bhattacharya will now command the West Bengal unit. He has replaced the ailing Subrata Bakshi. Sajda Ahmed and Naina Bandyopadhyay have been made vice presidents of the party.
The party has also decided the names of the presidents of different wings. Sayoni Ghosh will remain the president of Youth TMC. Mala Roy has got the responsibility of All India Trinamool Mahila Congress and Priyanka Adhikari has got the responsibility of student wing. Derek O’Brien and Kalyan Banerjee have been appointed in the team of spokespersons at the national level. Kunal Ghosh will play the role of state spokesperson. TMC will now form new committees there also on the basis of suggestions received from other states. The party aims to further strengthen the organization with these changes.
Although some media reports are claiming that many MPs-MLAs were absent in the meeting, but after the meeting and meeting with former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, TMC MLA Kunal Ghosh said that today a meeting was held under the leadership of TMC President Mamata Banerjee.
