On completion of 12 years of PM Modi, CM Rekha Gupta said- “Development journey got new momentum”
On the occasion of completion of 12 years of the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta underlined the achievements of the government in a media interaction organized at the NDMC Convention Centre. He said that PM Modi’s leadership has become a symbol of confidence for the countrymen and his policies have made public welfare the priority of the government.
The Chief Minister said that in the last 12 years, India has made remarkable progress in the fields of development, social empowerment and global prestige. Initiatives like Digital India, Make in India, Udaan Yojana, Self-reliant India and Metro expansion have given new impetus to the country’s development journey. According to him, today India has emerged as not only a country making its presence felt on the global stage, but also as an influential nation offering innovations and solutions.
Rekha Gupta said that the benefits of development have reached crores of people through Jan Dhan account, free ration, Ayushman Bharat, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ujjwala Yojana and housing schemes. Schemes launched for women, farmers, youth and small entrepreneurs have strengthened inclusive growth.
In the context of Delhi, he said that with the cooperation of the Central Government, major changes have been seen in the field of infrastructure, transportation, cleanliness and connectivity in the capital. Schemes like AMRUT 2.0, Swachh Bharat Mission, Metro expansion, expressway projects and Namo Bharat Corridor have given a new direction to the development of Delhi.
The Chief Minister said that lakhs of citizens have got direct benefits from schemes like Ujjwala, Swanidhi, Ayushman Bharat, PM-UDAY and Skill Development.
