JD Vance Indian Wife Pakistan Statement: A meeting is being held in Bergenstock, Switzerland on Sunday between representatives of Iran and America regarding ceasefire. After talking to Iranian officials, US Vice President JD Vance said something jokingly, which made a lot of headlines on social media.

Vance has said that there are two very, very special people in my life. An Indian and a Pakistani. The Indian is my wife and the Pakistani is Field Marshal Munir. He also praised Pakistani leadership for mediating between Iran and America.

Called Shahbaz Sharif a close friend

JD Vance praised Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He said that he is a close friend of the President and also a close friend of mine. It is because of his leadership and very careful and skillful negotiations that we have reached this stage. Also, I would like to mention their Field Marshal Asim Munir in Pakistan.

Discussing the Pakistan visit, Vance said that when Field Marshal Munir welcomed us with the Prime Minister in Islamabad, I jokingly said that there are two very, very important people in my life – An Indian and a Pakistani. The Indian is my wife and the Pakistani is Field Marshal Munir. And perhaps in the last three months I have spoken to Field Marshal Munir more than anyone else.

Called Asim Munir great

During the conversation, JD Vance praised Pakistani Field Marshal Asim Munir and called him great. Vance said that without his wisdom and leadership I would not be here. He is undoubtedly a great military leader. Vance further said that I think he has also proved himself as a great diplomat. And of course they are wonderful friends of America and have played a vital role in getting us to this point.
