Luxury SUV From Skoda: There is a good news to please the performance SUV lovers in the Indian car market. Let us tell you that Skoda is preparing to launch its new and powerful SUV Kodiaq RS in India. Regarding which the company has said that the booking of this high-performance model has been started and its sales are also expected to start soon. The most important thing in this is that Kodiaq RS will be brought in India as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) model, due to which its availability is going to be very limited. Not only this, in the reports the company says that it is planning to bring only 50 units in India. In such a situation, this SUV is not coming for the common customers but for the lovers of exclusive and premium cars.
Power of 265bhp, strong performance with AWD system
Talking about the car, the new Skoda Kodiaq RS will be equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol TSI engine which will generate 265bhp power and 400Nm torque. The interesting thing about this is that its torque is said to be more than that of Skoda Octavia RS. Not only this, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive (AWD) system will be available with the engine. This combination is going to give the SUV excellent acceleration, better road grip and an excellent driving experience.
Sporty design will create a different identity on the road
According to the information revealed, many cosmetic changes have been made to give the Kodiaq RS a different and more aggressive look than the standard Kodiaq. In which the SUV will see new front and rear bumpers, sporty exhaust system, large 20-inch alloy wheels and RS-special design elements. Apart from this, bigger brakes are also expected to be provided for better control and safety which will provide additional confidence during high-speed driving.
RS feel with luxury interior
The interior of any SUV is very important, hence the sporty identity is being strengthened in this SUV. All-black cabin theme, red accents, sports seats and premium finishing can be seen in it. This setup will provide a great blend of luxury and performance to both the driver and passengers.

Price may exceed Rs 50 lakh
The Kodiaq RS is going to be Skoda’s first RS-badged SUV in India. Which will be released in limited units and imported models, due to which its price is likely to be much higher than the current Kodiaq. It is believed that its starting ex-showroom price can be above Rs 50 lakh. In such a situation, Kodiaq RS will be a great option for those customers who want luxury, exclusivity and high-performance together.
