The screams of the students surrounded by flames are heart-wrenching. Parents are in agony over the dead bodies of young children. The lamps in their homes were extinguished. There is mourning silence from the spot Aliganj to KGMU hospital. The family members are sobbing. There are many questions amid grief, anger and helplessness. The question is also whether we learned any lesson after the previous accidents? However, Chief Minister Yogi has directed to take strict action on this fire incident that has shocked the country and the state. The action has also started. Four people including the building owner, coaching operator and pet shop owner have been arrested. Four officers were suspended. SIT is engaged in investigation.

There is a building in Sector-D of Aliganj. Initial investigation has found this building to be illegal. The map was definitely approved by LDA, but the construction was done arbitrarily. There is a pet shop on the ground floor of this building. Warehouse on first floor. On the second floor there was a 3-D animation coaching center and gaming zone. Students from 12th to graduation used to come to shape their future. But how did they know that here they would find not knowledge but death?

According to the police, the fire broke out in the building around 2:30 pm on Monday afternoon. The reason is said to be short circuit. Within a moment the entire building burst into flames. Students studying in coaching on the second floor were surrounded. The fire started from below so there was no way to get down.
Amidst the shouting and chaos, some students jumped from the second floor. Smoke started filling the coaching room. The students gasped and started falling. The fire brigade was informed, but as usual it continued its laxity. The fire brigade team arrived about 45 minutes after the incident.

Meanwhile, the police along with the local people kept trying to get the distressed students out. When no way out was found amid the fierce fire, some policemen took hammers and started breaking the wall. He also got success in this struggle to save lives.

Many students were taken out by breaking the wall. Some gathered courage and came down from the roof with the help of cables. Everyone was horrified to see the heart-wrenching scene. After this the race for officers started. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was in Aligarh at the time of the incident. Left the public meeting and returned to Lucknow. Before this, DGP Rajiv Krishna and ACS Sanjay Prasad were sent to the spot. Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak also reached. The rescue operation was conducted under the leadership of officials.
After the fire department brought the fire under control, the scene inside was heartbreaking. Seeing the dead bodies of the students, Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak started crying. Seeing the huge loss of life, the authorities sealed the entire area. About 22 ambulances were deployed and the injured and dead were taken out and sent to the hospital.

After returning from Aligarh, CM Yogi directly reached the spot Aliganj. Took stock of the situation. After that he went to KGMU hospital to meet the injured. Condoled the family members. Instructions to doctors to provide best treatment. CM held a high level meeting late at night. Instructed to form a two-member SIT. SIT started work in the night itself. A named FIR was lodged against six people in Aliganj police station. Four accused including the building owner and the coaching operator were arrested in the night itself. Four officers prima facie found guilty of illegal building construction were suspended. SIT will submit its investigation report in seven days.
