Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: Son of business family falls from Lohagarh Fort in Pune, Maharashtra Ketan Agarwal’s death The police have declared it not an accident but murder. According to the police, Ketan’s fiancee Siya Goyal and her friend Chetan Chaudhary conspired to murder. Both were presented in Pune District Court on 23 June, from where they were sent to police custody for 7 days on 29 June.

In the investigation, on the basis of technical evidence, call records and statements, the police have claimed that Ketan was pushed from the fort. Ketan’s parents have demanded the harshest punishment for the accused.

1. Ketan died after falling from Lohagarh Fort: Ketan Agarwal, 26, belonging to a Pune business family, died on June 18 after falling from Lohagarh Fort in Maharashtra. Initially it was considered an accident.

2. Fiancee Siya had told about the accident: Ketan’s fiancee Siya Goyal had told the police that while taking photographs, Ketan’s foot slipped and he fell into a deep ditch. After this the police started investigation.

3. Police became suspicious during investigation: According to the police, Ketan was an experienced trekker. That’s why suddenly falling like this seemed suspicious. After the statements of family and friends, the police started investigating the case from a new angle.

4. Siya and Chetan accused of conspiracy to murder: SP Sandeep Singh Gill of Pune Rural Police claimed that investigation revealed that Siya had contact with a youth named Chetan Choudhary. Police allege that both of them together planned to murder Ketan.

5. Both confessed to the crime: According to the police, Siya and Chetan have confessed to the crime during interrogation. However, further investigation of the case is still going on.

6. Court sent both of them to police custody: The Magistrate Court on Tuesday sent Sia Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary to police custody till June 29. The defense had opposed police custody.
