Varanasi. In God’s city of Kashi, the BJP mayor in the Varanasi Municipal Corporation border area has passed a proposal to ban the sale of meat and fish and it will be implemented in the next few months. On the other hand, in Varanasi, a case of BJP councilor having a chicken and liquor party on a boat on the waves of Ganga has come to light. At present, while taking action in the case, the police has arrested all the 5 accused.

Actually, this shocking incident happened at Dashashwamedh Ghat of Varanasi. After the video of the case went viral, the police immediately took cognizance and arrested all the five accused seen in the video and also seized the boat.
Why is the BJP, which harasses the people by wearing the spectacles of religion, silent on this act of its own party councilor? Chief Minister should answer!

The party wrote that the BJP, immersed in the arrogance of power, has forgotten that Mother Ganga is the center of faith and not the base for parties held on boats by its leaders. By Monday evening, a video of about 1 minute 15 seconds went viral in Varanasi. The viral message accompanying the video claimed that not only meat is being cooked on the waves of the holy Ganga on the boat of BJP nominated councilor Satyanarayan Sahni alias Tanna of Agastkunda area, but a liquor party is going on. Tanna is also currently the Vice President of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Mandal in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The police immediately took cognizance of the viral video and registered a case against all the accused and arrested them. The accused who have been arrested include Deepak Kumar, Ajay Sahni, Arun Kumar Sahni, Anurag Nishad and Rahul Sahni. The age of all the arrested accused is between 25 to 32 years.
What did the ACP say?
Regarding the case, ACP Dashashwamedh Atul Anjan Tripathi said that all the 5 people seen in the video have been arrested while registering the case under relevant sections. Looking at the video it appears that the video is old. The boat has also been seized. On the question of BJP councilor doing such an act on the boat, the ACP said that he is not visible in the video. Probably the boat belongs to him or one of his family members. He also appealed to the people to refrain from doing any act which hurts the sentiments of the people. Otherwise legal action will be taken against them.
Let us tell you that earlier during Ramzan, a biryani party was organized by Muslim youth on a boat on the waves of Ganga near Panchganga Ghat in Varanasi, in which the police took action and arrested everyone and sent them to jail.
