The young man, who had his eyes set on his beautiful girlfriend’s daughter, used to take her to the bathroom and bathe her; What happened one day that resulted in death?

A shocking case has come to light in Teesside Crown Court of England. Alexandra Walker, 20, and Harrison Simpson are accused of the murder and sexual abuse of 2-year-old Isabel Welsh. The court was told that on September 13, 2026 last year, the girl had fallen at her home in Thornaby Teesside and suffered a serious head injury. A few weeks before his death, he had 21 broken bones. Along with this, she was also allegedly sexually exploited. This is quite shocking. The surprising thing is how someone can do such a thing with a 2 year old innocent child. This trial, which will last for six weeks, is still going on in the court.

Testifying for the prosecution on Thursday (June 25, 2026), Alexandra Walker’s mother, Claire Walker, said that she thought her daughter adored Isabel Welsh, but she became worried after seeing her granddaughter’s poor condition a few days before her death. Information has also come to light that the little girl’s grandmother was worried when her daughter’s new boyfriend started bathing the girl alone. The girl’s mother and boyfriend are accused of murder and sexual abuse. Both mother and grandmother were concerned that Alexandra Walker’s boyfriend Harrison Simpson used to bathe Isabelle when no one else was there.

Serious injury took the life of Isabel Welsh

Mark McKeon KC, representing Alexandra Walker in court, asked her whether Alexandra had consulted with Harrison about bathing Isabel. To this she replied that she did not think he had any choice because he did it when she was not at home. When Alexandra Walker was in the hospital, he bathed her. He told me about this. I told you not to let him bathe again. Only the mother should do this work. Isabel Welsh then died of serious head injuries at her home in Thornaby Teesside on September 13 last year.

Alexandra Walker had a boyfriend for several months

Isabel’s mother Alexandra Walker is on trial at Teesside Crown Court for her murder and torture. Along with this, Harrison Simpson (22), who has been the boyfriend of Alexandra Walker, is also accused of murder and sexual assault of Isabel. The court also heard Alexandra Walker’s video interview with police shortly after Isabel Welsh’s death. She said Claire Walker had visited her granddaughter about 48 hours before Isabel collapsed at home and was worried because she had ‘never seen her so sick’.

Mother had given the excuse of virus

He said that Isabel had turned pale. He had pain in his stomach and knees. There was also a bulge on his head due to the injury. When Claire Walker changed his nappy, she noticed bruises on his back and fingerprint-like marks near his buttocks. On this, daughter Alexandra Walker told Claire Walker that Isabel had accidentally hit her head and due to a broken leg, she had contracted a virus during her first stay in the hospital, that is why she was looking so ill.

CCTV revealed all the secrets

Grandmother Alexandra Walker testified in court from behind a screen and told that she had never met Harrison Simpson. Alexandra Walker told that her daughter had said that Simpson had ‘anxiety (uneasiness) and he did not want to meet me. He said that his daughter had previously been a victim of domestic violence, so he had installed CCTV cameras in his house, in which the conversation between Alexandra Walker, Harrison Simpson and Isabel was recorded.
