China stopped the Indian pilgrims on Manas Sarovar Yatra! Top of the tour operators

After four long years, Manas Sarovar has opened its doors for Indians. Like last year, pilgrims have thronged there. But a group of Indian pilgrims have faced big problems after coming to the border. It is known that many people do not have the necessary documents to enter China. As a result, pilgrims are stuck in Nepal. Seeing the whole situation, the Ministry of External Affairs has issued a statement for the pilgrims.

Manas Sarovar Yatra starts from June. Often pilgrims rely on tour operators. These operators are responsible for all travel arrangements, entry permits to Nepal and China. But these operators should be wary, according to the statement of the Ministry of External Affairs. It has also been said that all the documents must be checked carefully before starting the journey to Manas Sarovar from India. Only with confirmed documents and permits is the advice center to start the journey.

Many times tour operators are assured that they will get entry permit to China after reaching Nepal. But in reality it is not like that. That is why at least 52 pilgrims are stuck in Nepal. Ministry of External Affairs warns that no one should start the journey with the hope of getting a permit. At the same time, the Ministry of External Affairs has requested to check whether the tour operators are legal at all. It should be noted that MP Supriya Sule highlighted the issue of pilgrims being trapped in Nepal in the X handle. The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement after that.

Incidentally, this journey was canceled in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic. Then India-China relations deteriorated significantly due to the Galwan conflict. The Kailas-Manas Sarovar Yatra is closed till 2023 due to two reasons. However, in 2024, China proposed to start this journey last year with a lot of strictures. As a result, the cost of travel almost doubles. However, there has been some improvement in India-China relations since last year, with an increase in the number of Indian pilgrims visiting Manas Sarovar.
