Mahindra Launching Two New SUVs Vision S and Vision SXT: Indian automobile giant Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to further strengthen its hold in the coming times. The company has prepared a big plan for the year 2027, under which it is going to launch two new and powerful SUVs in the Indian market.

The names of these new vehicles are said to be Mahindra Vision S and Mahindra Vision SXT. The arrival of these models will not only provide new options to the customers, but can also pose a big challenge for competing companies like Tata Motors in the market.

What is the new NU_IQ platform?

The biggest feature of both these new SUVs of Mahindra is their ‘NU_IQ’ Will be a modular platform. This platform is the cornerstone of the recently introduced Vision S, Vision X, Vision T and Vision SXT concept models.

It is a versatile platform capable of supporting a variety of engine options such as petrol, diesel (ICE), electric (EV) and hybrid. This means that Mahindra will provide options to customers in every category keeping in mind the future needs. Apart from this, this platform also supports all-wheel drive (AWD) system, which will prove to be a great feature for off-roading enthusiasts.

What are the features in Mahindra Vision S?

According to reports, the Mahindra Vision S will be based on the company’s extremely popular ‘Scorpio-N‘ Being considered part of the family. This will be a sub-4 meter SUV, whose design has been kept quite strong and boxy. Features like high roof, straight body, round LED headlights and modern flush door handles can be seen in its design.

Although some of the additional accessories shown in the concept model may not be available in the production model, its look is going to be quite powerful. A new steering wheel and split-folding rear seats can be given in its interior.

What are the features of Mahindra Vision SXT?

At the same time, Mahindra Vision SXT will be offered as a lifestyle pickup truck. The company has also recently filed a patent for its design. Its look will be quite aggressive and off-roading style, in which a large front grille, skid plate and Y-shaped LED DRLs can be given. It is expected to get premium features like vertical touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof and connected car technology.

Will be equipped with modern features

Both these SUVs will be quite advanced in terms of technology. These include variable ratio steering, 5-link rear suspension, active dampers and the new ‘NU_UX’ Modern features like user interface can be included. The production model of the Vision S could be introduced by the end of 2026, while its sales are expected to start in early 2027.
