UP Weather Alert: Rain alert in 44 districts of UP, clouds will rain heavily in these areas
Lucknow: After the monsoon became active in Uttar Pradesh, the weather has once again taken a turn. Incessant rains are continuing in many parts of the state, while the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain with thunder and lightning in 44 districts for Friday. At the same time, warning of heavy rain has also been given in some districts of Bundelkhand and Vindhya region.
Alert of heavy rain in these districts
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in districts like Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Banda, Chitrakoot and Sonbhadra. In these areas, there may be heavy rain along with lightning and thunderstorm in the next few hours.
Yellow alert issued in 44 districts
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert in a total of 44 districts of the state. These include major districts like Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Kanpur, Fatehpur, Kaushambi, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Rae Bareli, Farrukhabad, Saharanpur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Agra, Mathura, Etah, Hathras and Firozabad. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be cautious and not to go to open places.
Record rainfall recorded in many districts
Good rainfall has been recorded in many districts in the last 24 hours. Mirzapur recorded the highest rainfall of 120 mm, while Azamgarh recorded 114.6 mm, Sambhal 104 mm, Bijnor 62 mm, Varanasi 54.6 mm and Barabanki 50 mm.

According to senior meteorologists, the impact of rain on Friday and Saturday will be especially high in Bundelkhand and Vindhya region. After this, once again there is a possibility of widespread rain in the entire state from July 5. This year the monsoon reached Uttar Pradesh with a delay of about 10 days, but now it has become increasingly active.
