On the theft of offerings in Ayodhya Ram temple, AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal said in a press conference on Friday that lakhs of devotees from Goa and all over India donated with faith for the construction of Shri Ram temple. Today, allegations of theft of gold jewellery, silver bricks, diamonds, cash donations and offerings worth about Rs 200 crore have shaken that faith.

70 incidents of theft captured in CCTV footage in just 40 days
He said land reportedly worth Rs 2 crore was sold to the Ram Mandir Trust for Rs 18 crore in just 10 minutes. Engineers associated with the project reportedly said on record that a 40% commission was demanded for sanctioning the construction tender. CCTV footage captured 70 incidents of theft in just 40 days. He said that this is just the beginning.

A SIT was formed without registering a proper FIR.
He said that without registering a proper FIR, an SIT was formed, which had no legal authority to make arrests, conduct raids or issue summons. When AAP leader Sanjay Singh presented evidence of the land scam, the SIT said it had no jurisdiction to investigate matters related to land or construction.
Kejriwal said that exactly the same thing happened in 2021 also. A similar SIT was formed and quietly disbanded without any arrests or action. In a highly unusual move, the accused were directly sent to judicial custody without taking them into police custody or interrogating them, thereby easily granting them bail. Champat Rai may have resigned on paper, but he is still overseeing the functioning of the temple.
BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has said that if he says anything, the names of “very influential people” will be revealed and his own safety will be in danger. Baba Bageshwar Dham has also said that powerful people are involved in this and speaking may put them in danger. When political leaders and spiritual figures say they are afraid to name those involved, the country deserves answers. “Which powerful people are being saved, and why?”
Brij Bhushan is a very powerful leader of BJP. He is saying that ‘if I open my mouth, they will not leave me’.
Baba Bageshwar ji also said that very big people are involved in the theft of offerings and ‘if I say something, I may be in trouble’.

BJP and its leaders do not really believe in Lord Ram nor respect him. Had they done so, the fear of divine judgment would have prevented them from plundering the sacred offerings made in their temple. For them, Lord Ram is just a political symbol, used to get votes and collect donations. It is surprising that even after two and a half years of construction of the grand Ram temple, Home Minister Amit Shah has not visited there even once to worship or seek blessings of Lord Ram.
Yet, in the last two and a half years, he has taken the name of Lord Ram and Ram temple 42 times in his speeches and interviews while seeking votes. “They take the name of Lord Ram at every political rally to get votes, but they have no time for true devotion. The Ayodhya Ram temple is deeply connected to the faith and sentiments of crores of people. The kind of theft that has taken place here is unprecedented. If an idol or jewelery is stolen from the temple, they are usually isolated incidents. But a systematic, organized mafia carrying out thefts over such a long period of time is something we have never seen before.”

The real mastermind of the Ram Mandir scam should be identified, arrested, sent to jail and given the most stringent punishment. Why are they being saved? Who is being saved? Who are the people behind this? Today, everyone is asking the same question: Why are older people being saved, and who is saving them?
