‘Deep hurt to faith…’, RSS said for the first time on Ram temple theft case

For the first time, the reaction of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has come to light in the case of theft of offerings from Ram temple in Ayodhya. RSS Sarkaryavah i.e. General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said on Friday that the incident of alleged theft of offerings in the Ram temple of Ayodhya has deeply hurt the sentiments and faith of the entire society. The Sangh termed the theft from the donation boxes of Ram Temple as an unfortunate incident. He also says that he is very sad and angry over this theft.

 

Dattatreya Hosabale said that whoever is found guilty in the investigation should be given the harshest punishment. He claimed that anti-Hindu and anti-national forces are trying to defame Hinduism by taking advantage of this unfortunate incident. He also appealed to the entire Hindu society to maintain patience and restraint in this difficult time so that all such conspiracies can be foiled.

Took effective steps to overcome the shortcomings

Hosabale said in a statement, ‘The unfortunate incident of theft from the donation boxes kept in Shri Ram Lalla temple in Ayodhya has deeply hurt the sentiments and faith of the entire society and Ram devotees. We are all very sad and angry by this incident. Hosabale said that it is natural for the Trust of the entire Hindu society including the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to consider this highly condemnable incident as an extraordinary case and take effective steps to remove all the shortcomings in the management and operation of the temple.

He said that it is necessary to ensure that whoever is found guilty in the investigation, gets the harshest punishment. He also stressed that the current situation of confusion and uncertainty should end. Hosabale said, ‘In this regard, we expect that the temple management and the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the government will take all necessary steps.’

Temple is the center of reverence, faith and devotion

He said that the grand temple built on the birthplace of Shri Ram is the center of reverence, faith and devotion of the entire Hindu society due to the struggle of generations and the dedication, sacrifice and sacrifice of crores of Ram devotees. He said, ‘We believe that through proper financial management, transparent systems for smooth functioning and an environment imbued with religiosity full of purity and sanctity, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will strengthen the faith and belief of the Hindu society.’
