TeamTrace Launches AI-Powered FieldTrace Platform for India’s Frontline Workforce

Workforce management software company TeamTrace has launched FieldTracean AI-powered platform designed to help businesses manage and monitor distributed field teams.

The GPS-based solution combines workforce tracking, attendance, task management and operational analytics into a single platform. It targets industries with large frontline workforces, including FMCG, logistics, healthcare, telecom, utilities, facility management and field sales.

AI-Powered Verification and Workforce Intelligence

Unlike conventional employee tracking applications, FieldTrace combines location data with identity verification and AI-driven workforce intelligence.

The platform offers face recognition, geofenced attendance, AI-powered route optimisation and task management. It also detects GPS spoofing to reduce fraudulent attendance and location manipulation.

TeamTrace said the platform’s offline-first architecture allows employees to record attendance, visits and task updates without an internet connection. Data automatically syncs once connectivity is restored.

Addressing Operational Challenges

Managing large field teams remains a challenge for businesses that rely on frontline employees.

Many organisations continue to struggle with workforce visibility, attendance accuracy and operational accountability across dispersed locations.

TeamTrace said FieldTrace has been developed to address these issues by providing businesses with real-time operational insights and verified workforce data.

Founder on Building Trust, Not Surveillance

“Managing a distributed field workforce has long been a challenge for businesses,” said Amitabh RoyFounder of FieldTrace.

“Many existing solutions focus primarily on location tracking. Businesses today need confidence that every attendance, visit and task has been completed authentically. We built FieldTrace to create trust rather than surveillance by combining AI, intelligent verification and real-time workforce intelligence,” he said.

Roy added that intelligent workforce platforms will play an increasingly important role as organisations continue to digitise frontline operations.

“We believe trusted workforce data will become a critical asset for improving productivity, compliance and operational decision-making,” he said.

Expanding Beyond Workplace Productivity

The launch marks TeamTrace’s expansion into AI-powered workforce intelligence solutions for deskless employees.

The company said the platform is designed to improve compliance, increase operational transparency and reduce field inefficiencies through real-time workforce data.

As Indian enterprises continue investing in digital transformation, demand for workforce management platforms is expected to grow. Businesses are increasingly seeking AI-powered tools that combine operational visibility with automation and data-driven decision-making.

With FieldTrace, TeamTrace aims to strengthen its position in the growing workforce technology market by helping organisations manage frontline operations more efficiently.
