Popular educator Faisal Khanwidely known as Khan Sir, has been granted anticipatory bail by a Patna court in connection with a coaching centre firing case.
The relief was also extended to three staff members of his coaching institute. The development was confirmed by Khan Sir’s lawyer on Monday, according to a PTI report.
The Patna court allowed the anticipatory bail plea, providing protection from arrest to Khan Sir and the three co-accused while the investigation into the case continues.
The case relates to an alleged firing incident connected to the coaching institute. However, the court’s order does not amount to an acquittal, and the investigation will proceed in accordance with the law.
