Iran’s open warning after America’s blockade, ‘Everyone will get oil, otherwise there will be crisis in the entire Gulf’

Dubai. The increasing military tension between America and Iran has made the situation in West Asia more serious. Iran has warned that it could stop energy exports from the Middle East after the US military re-imposed a blockade on Iranian ports. Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard said on Wednesday that oil and gas exports from the region would either be for all countries or none. After this statement, concern has increased in the global energy market.

Strait of Hormuz becomes center of conflict

The main center of ongoing tension between America and Iran is the Strait of Hormuz. This sea route is considered one of the most important energy routes in the world. Before the war, about one-fifth of the world’s oil and natural gas trade passed through this route. The US is trying to keep this waterway open by challenging Iran’s control, while Iran wants to maintain its influence on it.

America imposed blockade again

The US military reimposed the blockade on Iranian ports early Wednesday. Earlier, America had also imposed a blockade in mid-April, which was lifted in mid-June. Before lifting the blockade, there was a 60-day interim agreement between the US and Iran for talks on many issues including the nuclear program, but the talks came to a halt due to increased tension over the Strait of Hormuz.

Many Iranian locations targeted by American attacks

According to US Central Command, the US took military action against Iran for about seven hours during the re-imposition of the blockade. During this period many targets of Iran were targeted. American officials say that this action was taken in response to the attacks by Iran.

Missile attacks on Gulf countries

Amid tensions, warnings of missile attacks were issued in Bahrain and Kuwait early Wednesday. Both countries said they faced attacks from Iran. Jordan also claimed that it shot down three missiles fired by Iran. Iran has claimed responsibility for these attacks. Navy Admiral Brad Cooper, head of US Central Command, said Iran has fired several missiles and drones towards neighboring Gulf countries.

Fear of impact on oil and gas prices

Experts believe that if the Strait of Hormuz remains affected for a long time, it may have an impact on global markets. This is likely to increase the prices of oil, gas, fertilizers and other essential commodities. Even before this, instability was seen in the international market after threats from Iran to disrupt sea routes.

Trump warned of more attacks

US President Donald Trump has warned Iran that if an agreement is not reached, America can take further action. Trump said that more attacks could be carried out on Iran in the next few days. At the same time, Iran has criticized America’s action in the United Nations.

Iran called America an aggressor in the United Nations

Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, condemned the US attacks, saying that America is the aggressor, not the victim. He wrote a letter to the UN chief protesting against the ongoing military action against Iran.

Danger of full-scale war increases

The risk of major conflict in West Asia has increased between military action by America and Israel against Iran and Iran’s retaliatory action. Experts say that prolonged tension in the Strait of Hormuz will not only affect regional security but can also affect the energy supply of the entire world.
