Just before the Bankipur by-election, Tejashwi Yadav’s party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) suffered a major setback when party spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari resigned from the primary membership. He alleged that there is no respect left for the workers in the party. Despite complaint, cognizance is not taken. Tejashwi Yadav is surrounded by people who lick the party like termites. Tiwari said that one cannot do politics after being insulted. For this reason, I have decided to leave RJD.
In RJD, Mrityunjay Tiwari was considered a confidant of not only Tejashwi Yadav but also his father Lalu Prasad Yadav. This is the reason why for the last decade he was handling important responsibilities like party spokesperson and media in-charge. However, now he has created a political uproar by linking his resignation to insult. Not only this, some leaders were also accused of ruining the party.

These allegations become more important when before this, Tejashwi Yadav’s elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav has also narrated the story of Jaichands many times. Sister Rohini Acharya had also accused some leaders of ruining and humiliating the party.
Workers like me have no respect in the party: Tiwari
Mrityunjay Tiwari said in a video, ‘Today we have resigned from all the posts of Rashtriya Janata Dal. Today in the party office in the presence of State President Mangani Lal Mandal and all the senior leaders, we clearly said that now there is no respect in the party for a dedicated and loyal worker like me.

Even Tejashwi did not listen to the complaint
He further said that despite repeated requests, no senior leader took cognizance. We also complained many times to opposition party leader Tejashwi Yadav, but he also did not take cognizance. There is no justification for a dedicated and loyal worker like me to continue in this party, because one cannot do politics after being insulted.
‘Some people ruined the party’
Mrityunjay Tiwari further said that we had supported Rashtriya Janata Dal in bad days. In the year 2014, National President Lalu Prasad Yadav gave him the responsibility of spokesperson and media in-charge. We discharged our responsibilities well and carried forward the policies of Rashtriya Janata Dal. But there are some people in this party who have ruined the party by licking like termites. If Tejashwi ji is surrounded by such people then it is not appropriate for workers like us to stay in the party.
