CM Yogi mentioned the UP law and order before 2017, said – those who created riots like Jinnah, we like sugarcane.

Shamli/Bijnor: Referring to Kairana Gharana, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this land gave a new identity to Indian classical music and great artists like Pandit Bhimsen Joshi made its tradition proud in the whole world. In the end, he bowed to the holy land of Shamli and congratulated all the people wholeheartedly.

CM Yogi started his address with chants of ‘Vande Mataram’, ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Har Har Mahadev’. He welcomed the ministers, public representatives and BJP-RLD officials present on the stage and greeted the people of Shamli, Kairana and Thana Bhawan.

The Chief Minister said that the land of Shamli is world famous for its mythological, historical and cultural heritage. He said that during the Mahabharata period, Lord Shri Krishna had rested in this area before going on the crusade of Kurukshetra. Also, remembering the contribution of Shamli and Kairana in the revolution of 1857, he said that this land had worked to shake the foundation of the British rule.

The Chief Minister said that today the picture has completely changed. He said that just as Prayagraj is known for the Triveni Sangam, Shamli is now going to become a major hub of the confluence of Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, Shamli-Ambala Expressway and Gorakhpur-Shamli Expressway. With better infrastructure and strong law and order, Shamli will be among the most prosperous districts of NCR in the coming times. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in his address that at one time Shamli was not identified with the sweetness of sugarcane, but with terror, migration and hooliganism. He said that there was migration from Kairana and Kandhla, law and order had broken down, farmers, youth and businessmen were all troubled, while sisters and daughters did not feel safe.

There were no medical facilities 10 years ago, Shamli became the treatment center for Corona

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that a decade ago health facilities were almost non-existent in Shamli, but after 2017 the situation changed rapidly. He said that during the Corona epidemic, patients not only from the district but also from Delhi and surrounding areas reached the hospitals of Shamli for treatment. He described this as an example of the development model of double engine government.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that 10 years ago there was a huge problem of electricity in Shamli, but today due to the 400 KV power substation established here, this district has become an important center of electricity supply in Western Uttar Pradesh. He said that the government has worked to change the picture of the district by giving priority to basic facilities and development works.

Double engine government gave new impetus to Shamli’s development

The Chief Minister said that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Center and the Uttar Pradesh government together are giving a new direction to the development of Shamli. He said that due to the coordination between the two governments, infrastructure and development works have gained momentum in the district.

‘Sugarcane farmers are getting a price of Rs 400 per quintal’

Referring to sugarcane farmers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the state government has taken many big decisions in the interest of the farmers. He said that today farmers are getting Rs 400 per quintal price of sugarcane and the payment system has also become better than before. He said that Uttar Pradesh has today become the leading state in the country in sugarcane production, sugar production and ethanol production.

First sugar mills were closed, now 122 mills operate in the state

The Chief Minister said that when the government was formed in 2017, the sugar industry was in crisis, but the government worked to revive it. He said that today 122 sugar mills are operating in Uttar Pradesh, which has benefited both the farmers and the sugar industry.

Targeted at SP-Congress

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his address targeted the Samajwadi Party and Congress, saying that his government gave priority to the interests of sugarcane farmers, strengthened sugar mills and ensured timely payment to the farmers. He claimed that the double engine government worked to advance development and farmers’ interests.

Jail or hell is the only place for criminals in UP

The Chief Minister said that before the year 2017, Kairana was in the news for crime and migration. He said that the government has adopted a policy of zero tolerance against crime and criminals. According to him, today there is fear of law among criminals and law and order in the state has become stronger than before.

Chief Minister paid tribute to the historical and cultural heritage of Bijnor

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Bijnor is irrigated by the holy stream of Mother Ganga and is the birthplace of Mahatma Vidur. He said that this is the same land where Lord Krishna had attained the company of Mahatma Vidur. The Chief Minister welcomed and congratulated the people of Bijnor while paying obeisance to this holy land.

Remembered great personalities

In his address, the Chief Minister mentioned the literary, scientific and social heritage of Bijnor and remembered personalities like Pandit Padma Singh Sharma, Acharya Dattak Sharma, Abul Fazal Wafai, scientist Dr. Atmaram, Hindi ghazalkar Dushyant Kumar, Mahavir Singh Tyagi and constitutional expert Dr. Subhash Kashyap. He said that he pays his respects to this glorious land of Bijnor.

Rioters like Jinnah, we like sugarcane

The Chief Minister said that before 2017, the law and order situation in Bijnor was bad. He claimed that at that time crime and mafia were dominant, whereas today due to the zero tolerance policy of the government, law and order in the district has been strengthened and development has gained momentum.

CM said that some people wanted a Bijnor which was under the control of goons, criminals and mafias. They do politics of dividing the society. But we like sugarcane, not Jinnah, so our priority is to increase the price of sugarcane farmers and sugarcane.
