The Portuguese full-back is joining La Viola on a season long loan deal with an option to buy. According to the latest updates from transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina will pay a loan fee of €1m and will have an option to make the move permanent for a further €9m.
Joao Mario has been filmed arriving in Florence on Monday in order to complete his medical and the last remaining details of his switch to Viola Park.
The 26-year-old joined Juventus last summer, arriving at a cost of €12m from Porto. He would go on to make 10 appearances for the Old Lady in Serie A before being sent out on loan to Bologna, as part of an exchange that saw Emil Holm move in the opposite direction.
Joao Mario also has three Portugal national team caps to his name, but none since 2024.
