In a social media post, Rahul Gandhi said that lies and violence are the main principles of the Modi government. It is wrong to remove Sonam Wangchuk from Jantar Mantar for her non-violent hunger strike. He said that red tape, rising cost of education and student suicides are critical issues for India’s future. Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has now posted a post on Instagram targeting Prime Minister Modi.

He said, “The basic principles of the Modi government are lies and violence. Sonam Wangchuk It is wrong to remove them from Jantar Mantar while on non-violent fast. Paperwork, rising cost of education and student suicides are critical issues for India’s future.” Rahul Gandhi also said, “No force can stop Indian students and all of us who love and believe in them from raising these issues.”
Delhi Police admitted Sonam Wangchuk to hospital
On the morning of July 18, Sonam Wangchuk, who was on an indefinite hunger strike, was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital after her condition worsened on the 21st day of her fast. In a statement, the police said the action was taken on the advice of medical experts and in accordance with the directions of the Delhi High Court. His condition had deteriorated significantly due to prolonged fasting and dehydration. After he was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, security was beefed up in and around the hospital premises. Delhi Police and paramilitary forces were deployed. Barricades were also erected at many places to control the crowd.
