Rajasthan: 39 physical teachers become master trainers of self-defense training, will give safety lessons in schools

Jaipur. The 10-day state level Residential Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop organized from July 13 to 23 under the joint aegis of Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA) and Rajasthan Council for School Education (RCSCE) concluded on Thursday.

In the training, 39 physical teachers (20 men, 19 women) selected from different districts of the state were prepared as master trainers by giving them training in self-defense techniques, unarmed combat skills, POCSO Act, cyber security, legal awareness and life skills. These trainers will now give self-defense training in the schools of their respective districts.

In the closing ceremony, Additional Director General of Police and Director of RPA Sanjib Kumar Narzari said that safety and self-reliance of women and children is the identity of any progressive society.

He said that the objective of the training is to promote safety culture and legal awareness in schools. In the workshop, experts provided training on subjects like practical self-defense, rescue in crisis situations, cyber crime, women and child rights, gender equality and health.

In the end, all 39 participants were honored by providing training certificates and sports kits.
