2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift Launched At 7.39 Lakh

Putting an end to anticipation, Maruti Suzuki has launched the Brezza facelift in India, with ex-showroom prices starting at Rs 7.39 lakh. This is, however, an introductory price, valid for a limited period of time. The new SUV is available with three powertrain options. The overall design has improved on the new model and new features have been added to its interior. More importantly, safety levels have also improved.

The new Brezza retains its familiar, upright stance and compact proportions. Indian buyers love this design treatment, and Maruti thus left it untouched. That said, the updated model looks more modern.

It gets a redesigned grille section with a new smoked Chrome ornament. On higher variants this even gets a Golden Chrome finishing. The LED DRLs have been tweaked slightly and the front bumper has also been redesigned. The latter now gets a large Satin Silver-coloured trim and a skid plate. The triangular housings for the front fog lamps are also new. Even the bonnet has received minor styling tweaks to go well with the rest of the design.

The side view remains largely familiar. You can see a floating roof design, Blacked-out pillars, roof rails and a stronger body cladding. The 16-inch alloy wheels also feature a new design.

Design changes are minimal at the rear. The SUV gets a redesigned rear bumper with a more prominent skid plate, updated internals for the LED tail lamps, and an integrated roof spoiler. The tail lamps, by the way, are not connected units.

The colour palette has been revised. The updated Brezza is available in both mono-tones and dual-tones. The colour board sees the addition of two new shades- Vivacious Orange and Luster Beige. Arctic White, Sizzling Red and Luster Beige can be had as dual-tones.

Inside, the Brezza facelift retains its overall layout but introduces several new features. The dashboard design remains familiar. The material quality seems to have improved. The SUV also gets a new leatherette upholstery.

Instead of the 9-inch unit on its predecessor, the new Brezza gets a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It comes with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, 35+ in-built apps and Alexa integration. In addition to these, features like ventilated seats, air purifier, and a 64-colour ambient lighting, have also been added to the SUV.

Areas like the climate control panel and the front armrest have been redesigned. Existing features such as the single-pane sunroof, wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, connected car tech, heads-up display, auto-dimming IRVM, and push-button start have all been retained on the facelift as well.

The most important update on the new Brezza is under the hood. The update has given it a new 1.0L Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine. It makes 110PS of power and up to 170Nm of torque on the Brezza. Just a six-speed manual gearbox is offered with this engine.

Turbo-petrol variants will cater to people who seek performance. The 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine has also been retained. It makes 103PS and 139Nm, and can be had with both six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission options.

The new Brezza is also available with a CNG powertrain. It sees the introduction of underbody CNG tank setup. This has helped in freeing up boot space, and has ensured that the boot remains practical and usable.

The Brezza’s safety package has also been strengthened on the facelift. It now comes with front parking sensors, 360 camera, six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminders, and many other safety features. The overall structural rigidity has also increased on the new model. The SUV has already scored five stars in Bharat NCAP’s crash tests. It scored 30.41 out of 32 for adult occupant protection (AOP) tests and 43 out of 49 for child occupant protection (COP) test.

Maruti Suzuki is also offering an extensive array of accessories on the new Brezza. These are available as two personalisation packages (or personas)- Terrascape and Metroscape.
