Big action by Yogi government! Strict action on negligence in online meetings of Education Department, new order issued

Lucknow. The Yogi government has taken an important step towards making the functioning of the Basic Education Department in Uttar Pradesh more accountable and effective. Now strict rules have been implemented regarding the presence of officers in the online review meetings held at the directorate level. The new instructions are aimed at increasing discipline in meetings, ensuring timely implementation of decisions and further strengthening the monitoring of education schemes.

Now presence of senior officers will be mandatory

According to the new system of the Education Department, the presence of Assistant Education Director (Basic) from the divisional level and District Basic Education Officer (BSA) from the district level will be mandatory in every online review meeting. Earlier, many times the officers concerned did not attend the meetings themselves or were sent to some other employee without proper permission. Now such system has been banned.

Education Director issued clear instructions

Director of Education (Basic) Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi has issued instructions to all divisional and district level officers saying that online review meetings should be taken with utmost seriousness. If due to any unavoidable government work the concerned officers are not able to attend the meeting, they will have to authorize a senior subordinate officer in advance, so that the representation of the district or division is not affected.

Login will be done through official e-mail ID only

Under the new system, all officers will attend the meeting only through their official e-mail ID. This will keep the identity of the participants in the meeting clear and the review process will become more transparent and systematic. Use of unauthorized login or personal ID will not be accepted.

There will be only one authorized login from one district

To prevent technical chaos, the Education Department has also decided that people from any one district or division will not be allowed to attend the meeting with different devices or IDs. If presence of more than one officer is required, all officers will sit at one place and participate in the meeting through one authorized login.

Monitoring of schemes will be strengthened

The government believes that review of schemes will be more effective with direct involvement of senior officials. Implementation of the decisions taken in the meetings will be faster, immediate action can be taken on pending matters and the implementation of various schemes of the Education Department will proceed in a time bound manner.
