Pakistan's Imran Khan: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has given a big relief to former PM Imran Khan. The Supreme Court on Tuesday released Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, who has been lodged in Adiala jail for 3 years. He has been ordered to be sent to Shifa International Hospital for treatment till the next hearing. This order has come in response to the long-standing demand of his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and family. The party and family had expressed concern citing the recent medical report of Imran Khan from Adiala Jail.

The court has directed the authorities to ensure their treatment and medical examination. While issuing this order, a bench of three judges has asked to form a medical board for Imran Khan. Also, instructions have been given to take him to the hospital under tight security. The court also asked the authorities to ensure that law and order does not deteriorate outside the hospital.
During the hearing of cases related to Imran Khan's meetings and his treatment, Justice Shahid Waheed questioned why his complete medical records were not given. He said that the information given in the court was only a summary of the medical report. The court directed that the complete medical records of Imran Khan be submitted before the next hearing. The Court said that once the records are produced in the Court, they will no longer be confidential.
The court has also ordered weekly meetings between Imran Khan and his family members. That means we should meet every week. The order said that a medical board will be formed to examine the health of Imran Khan, which will include the PTI leader's personal doctor and his sister Dr. Uzma Khan.
