Naini, Prayagraj. The 80th anniversary of Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Saraswati Bal Mandir Junior High School, Gandhiyanv, Karchana. Block chief Karchana representative Kamlesh Kumar Dwivedi was present as the chief guest on the said occasion. The function was presided over by Dr. Bhagwan Prasad Upadhyay, the founder chairman of the school. Chief guest Shri Dwivedi, while paying tribute to the fighters who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country, said that today we are celebrating independence in India, it is the gift of those sacrificed freedom fighters of ours.
Independence Day is the biggest festival of our country in connection with which Tiranga Yatra is being conducted by the government across the country. Also, in view of the problem of drinking water in the outer premises of the school, he announced to provide solar water pump, on which all the present school family expressed their heartfelt gratitude with thunderous applause. Senior social worker Jagendra Tiwari future head of Meja area was present as a special guest.
In the function, colorful cultural programs were presented by the students of the school in which national songs, folk songs and dances were also presented by the children. The drug de-addiction drama presented by the students in Samjha was especially appreciated. Principal of the school, Madina Parveen, teacher Roshni Ansari, Anshika Yadav, Renu Vishwakarma, Khushi Vishwakarma had special support in making the function a reality in the school.
On the said occasion, Sobhnath Yadav, who has been present as a guardian for 25 years continuously, was honored with the Guardian Gaurav Samman. In the end, the manager of the school, Avnish Kumar Upadhyay, while expressing his gratitude to all the guests, wholeheartedly appreciated the programs presented by the students of the school and expressed his gratitude to everyone.
