For this you do not need to visit CSC center or any hospital every time. You can complete the e-KYC process through Ayushman app sitting at home from your mobile phone. After completion of e-KYC, eligible beneficiaries can also download their digital Ayushman card.
Ayushman App provides the facility to the beneficiaries to complete their e-KYC themselves. For this, first of all you have to download the official Ayushman app in your mobile phone. After opening the app, select the Beneficiary option. After this, enter your mobile number and login with the help of OTP. After login, you will have to select the information of your state, scheme and district. After this, the beneficiary information available in the system can be visible to you. Here you can also view the information of family members and find out which member's e-KYC has been completed and whose is still pending. If any member's e-KYC is pending, then the option of e-KYC will appear in front of his name. After clicking on this, information related to identity can be asked. As per the available options you can search the beneficiary record with the help of Aadhaar Number, Ration Card Number or Family ID.
After this the identity verification process will have to be completed. Options like Aadhaar OTP or face authentication can be found in this. If you choose the option of Aadhaar OTP, then you will have to enter the OTP received on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar. Face authentication may require you to verify your identity with the help of a mobile camera. Apart from this, the live photo or other important information required in the app will also have to be entered. After filling all the information, check it carefully. Submit the process once the name, identity details and other information are correct. After this your e-KYC process will proceed. After successful verification, the status of the concerned beneficiary can be updated.
After completion of e-KYC, the option to download the digital Ayushman card may also be available. For this, look for the option to download the card in front of the name of the concerned beneficiary in the app. From there the digital card can be downloaded and kept safe in the mobile. Its digital copy can be used if needed. The main objective of e-KYC is to verify the identity of the beneficiary, so that the benefits of the government health scheme can reach the right person. So if you are an eligible beneficiary of the scheme and your e-KYC is still pending, it is better to complete it on time. However, it is very important to be careful while doing e-KYC. Use only the official Ayushman app and trusted medium for the process. Do not share your OTP, Aadhaar number or other personal information with any unknown person.
