Indian youth shot dead in America, used to deliver pizza in New York

New York. Violent incidents against Indians have started increasing in America. Indian people are being targeted there every day. Amidst all this, a 27-year-old pizza delivery man was shot dead in New York City. The deceased has been identified as Gurdeep Singh, a resident of Punjab. After the incident, there is mourning in his family in Punjab. The family has demanded to bring Gurdeep's body to India and immediate arrest of the attacker.

According to the police, this incident happened in the Brooklyn area around 9:50 pm on Friday night. The New York Police Department received a report of a man shot multiple times near 899 Crescent Street. After the information, the police reached the spot, found Gurdeep Singh injured and admitted him to the hospital for treatment, where he died during treatment.

Police is investigating in this matter. The accused has not been arrested yet. Initially it is feared that an attempt at robbery could be behind the incident. However, the exact reason for the attack will become clear only after the police investigation is completed.

If media reports are to be believed, family members say that Gurdeep continued his hard work even after facing many difficulties. He was helping his family financially by doing pizza delivery work. The family members have appealed to the Government of India to help bring the body to Punjab soon.
