Chandigarh. Arvind Kejriwal has openly challenged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to conduct a joint investigation of government schools in Punjab and Gujarat. Kejriwal made this counterattack in response to the questions being raised by BJP on the education system of Punjab. He said that both the parties should share the list of 1,000 schools each in their respective states so that they can be inspected live in front of the media and public.

Invitation for open debate on Delhi Model vs Gujarat Model
Addressing a press conference, Arvind Kejriwal said, “BJP has been in power in Gujarat for the last 30 years, whereas the 'AAP' government in Punjab has been in power for only four and a half years. We are ready to give the list of 1,000 best government schools of Punjab to BJP. BJP should also give us the list of its 1,000 best schools of Gujarat. After this, leaders of both parties, media and general public should together visit these schools, so that the country can know the truth.
BJP accused of using 'fake and AI videos'
Arvind Kejriwal accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of hatching a conspiracy to defame the education system of Punjab. He has also claimed that the videos being shown on social media have either been doctored using Artificial Intelligence (AI) or are old videos from the year 2018, when the Congress was in power in the state.

'The face of Punjab's schools changed in four and a half years'
Patting the Punjab government on the back, the AAP convenor said that after assuming power in the year 2022, there has been a historic improvement in the education level of the state. Of the total 19,700 government schools in Punjab, the infrastructure of 19,200 schools has been completely improved. Citing NITI Aayog data, Kejriwal said that Punjab has become one of the leading states of the country in the field of education. Apart from this, he made it clear that if any citizen brings forward the real shortcomings of the school, the government will immediately improve it. He also said that politically motivated attempts to defame the entire state will not be tolerated. After this challenge, the political conflict between BJP and Aam Aadmi Party regarding the 'education model' of Punjab and Gujarat has intensified.
