When Vishal Premchand Rathod passed the ‘Fastest Finger First’ round and sat on the hot seat in front of Amitabh Bachchan, he could not stop himself and started crying bitterly. Along with him, his parents and two sisters also became emotional. Vishal told that he works as a daily wage laborer and when he gets work, he is able to earn Rs 500-600 a day. Seeing his struggle, megastar Amitabh Bachchan was also impressed and the atmosphere of the show became quite emotional.
Preparation for MPSC, pain of not getting work
During the show, Vishal revealed that he has been preparing for the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) competitive exam for the last three years. But the financial constraints of the house were so severe that many times he did not even have money to fill the examination forms or buy books. He tried hard to find a job, but people either asked for his experience or expected a strong recommendation. While narrating his helplessness, Vishal said a heart touching thing, ‘It is a helplessness, hence there is a labour.’ He wanted to get a good job so that he would not have to wander in search of work every day.
The correct answer to the question of Rs 5 lakh and the journey ahead
While playing the game, Vishal showed wisdom and successfully crossed the milestone of Rs 5 lakh. For Rs 5 lakh, he was asked the question, ‘Which animal is the picture shown on the insignia of which unit of the Indian Army?’ The options were Assam Regiment, Bihar Regiment, Kumaon Regiment and Madras Regiment. Vishal chose the correct answer of ‘Assam Regiment’ with full confidence. The special thing is that to reach the milestone of Rs 5 lakh, he used only one lifeline i.e. ‘Audience Poll’. Now he will be seen answering the important question of Rs 50 lakh in Wednesday’s episode.
Amitabh Bachchan and father’s appeal
Seeing Vishal’s condition, his 56-year-old father and 48-year-old mother joined hands during the show and appealed to the audience to help their son get a good and stable job so that the financial condition of their family can improve. Not only his father, but the show’s host Amitabh Bachchan himself also appealed to the audience to help Vishal so that this promising young man can get a stable job. Vishal said that he wants to change the fortunes of his family and take his parents out of this struggling life.
