Maharashtra government has taken a big decision regarding recruitment examinations. To prevent irregularities in the recruitment examination, the government has constituted a high-level committee, which will review the entire system from paper to result. The government has constituted a high-level committee to make the recruitment examination system more transparent, secure, reliable and candidate-centric.
This committee will not be limited to just the examination paper, but will review the entire examination process. The committee will look into how the question papers are prepared, how their confidentiality is maintained, how the security and arrangements of the examination centers are, how to increase the use of technology and how to effectively stop cheating and unfair means.
Apart from this, the committee is also mandated to redress the grievances of the candidates and review their entire experience during the examination. The government's objective behind forming this committee is clear. Through this, the government wants to provide a reliable and transparent examination system to the candidates by prohibiting irregularities and unfair means in recruitment examinations.
Additional Chief Secretary of General Administration Department K. is in the committee. Radha has been made the president. Apart from these, the committee includes a total of seven members including Director General of Police Sadanand Date, Electronics and IT Department Secretary Virendra Singh, Nashik Divisional Commissioner Praveen Gedam, former UPSC member Air Marshal Ajit Shankarrao Bhosale and IIT Mumbai Professor Shyamaprasad Kargute.
Let us inform that the screening examination was conducted by Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) on March 22 for recruitment to the posts of Drug Inspector (Group-B) in the Food and Drug Administration Department. At the same time, the matter of paper leak came to light just two days before the exam, after which the exam was canceled and investigation into the matter was started. Till now many people have been arrested in this case. At the same time, further investigation and action related to this case is going on by Mumbai Crime Branch.
