There is no stopping the Indian women’s hockey team’s winning streak in the Asian Games 2026. In its second match of Pool-B played at Gifu Prefectural Green Stadium on Monday, India defeated Indonesia by a huge margin of 17-1. After thrashing Uzbekistan 19-0 in their first match, this is the second consecutive one-sided win for the Indian team, playing under the supervision of Shod Marin. Rain of goals, three players scored a brilliant hat-trick
From the beginning of the match against Indonesia, Indian players adopted an aggressive stance. From India, Deepika, Rutuja Pisal and Navneet Kaur played brilliantly and completed their respective hat-tricks. Apart from this, Sunelita Toppo, Lalremsiami and Sakshi Rana contributed significantly to the team’s big score by scoring two goals each. Team captain Salima Tete and Ishika also scored one goal each.
Indonesia got the only goal in the third quarter
