Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav will reach MLA Rahul Lodhi's house in Rae Bareli on September 24 to have tea. The special thing is that for this tour, Akhilesh Yadav will not cover the entire distance from Lucknow by chariot, but will reach the MLA's house riding on the Samajwadi PDA chariot from Churua in Rae Bareli border. This visit is taking place after the controversy in which Rahul Lodhi had accused the police of assaulting and pushing him.
On September 17, there was a dispute between Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha and ABVP workers at Feroze Gandhi Degree College, Rae Bareli regarding the membership drive. After an altercation and pushing, the matter reached the police. SP leaders and workers alleged that the police resorted to lathicharge while removing the protesters and during this time SP MLA from Harchandpur Rahul Lodhi was also pushed and assaulted. At the same time, the police has denied the allegations of assault. Police say that there was a dispute between the two parties and they intervened to calm the situation.

'I will come to Rahul Lodhi's house to have tea'
After getting information about the dispute, many SP leaders of Rae Bareli including Rahul Lodhi met Akhilesh Yadav. After this, Akhilesh Yadav announced that he himself would go to Rae Bareli on 24th September and drink tea at Rahul Lodhi's house. Now the party has also released the program of his tour. The biggest discussion of this tour is about PDA Rath. Akhilesh Yadav will leave for Rae Bareli for the first time on September 24 in this chariot.
This program of Akhilesh Yadav is not being seen limited to just meeting the MLA. It has also been seen by linking it to SP's PDA i.e. Backward, Dalit and Minority social equation. Rahul Lodhi comes from Lodhi community and Akhilesh Yadav has raised questions on the government by linking the allegations of police action with PDA. Also, before the 2027 assembly elections, SP has started work on the strategy to increase organization and public relations in every assembly constituency.
