Bareilly. Swami Prasad Maurya, former cabinet minister in the Uttar Pradesh government and leader of his Janata Party, has claimed a Dalit-Muslim-OBC alliance in 2027. While defending veteran Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, he has targeted the government. He has termed 'one country, one election' as a fraud.

Swami Prasad Maurya said that today there is a meeting of party workers in Faridpur, for which I stayed here last night. After addressing the party workers, I will leave directly for Lucknow. In view of the current political situation, it has become necessary to enter the fight for the 2027 assembly elections with full preparation. He said that considering the need of the hour, all opposition parties should unite.
Swami Prasad Maurya said that Rahul Gandhi is currently continuously raising issues related to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and the nation at the national level and he is fighting on these issues. I am also working on these issues in Uttar Pradesh. Our ideology and struggle are the same.
Swami Prasad Maurya said that while we are struggling to deal with these innumerable problems in UP, at the national level the Congress Party remains an option, that is why today it was decided to join the India Alliance and this topic was discussed. Apart from this we want Rahul Gandhi to become the next Prime Minister of this country. For this purpose, I am constantly trying to unite like-minded people. Today's meeting is just the beginning, further information will be given at the appropriate time.
