India-West Indies T20 match in Ekana today, traffic will change from 3 pm; Know which roads will remain closed

Lucknow. In view of the T-20 match between India and West Indies at Ekana Stadium, the traffic system will be changed on many major routes of Lucknow on Tuesday. Traffic diversion will remain in force from 3 pm till the end of the match. At the same time, the pressure of vehicles on Shaheed Path is likely to increase from 2 pm to 9 pm.

Separate parking and alternative routes have been decided for vehicles coming to the match. Along with big vehicles and two-wheelers, traffic arrangements have also been issued for the operation of autos, e-rickshaws and cabs.

Parking arrangements for large vehicles nearby

Large vehicles nearby will go from Ahimamau towards HCL. After this, vehicles will be parked in the designated parking via Water Tank Tiraha and Plasio.

Big vehicles without passes will also move from Ahimamau towards HCL. Vehicles arriving first will be given space in the parking lot of Plasio Mall. After filling the parking, vehicles will be parked between Water Tank Tiraha and HCL.

Route of big vehicles coming from Kamta

Big vehicles going from Kamta Shaheed Path Tiraha towards Sultanpur, Rae Bareli and Kanpur Road will go through Kisan Path via Indira Gandhi Pratisthan, Samtamulak, Lalbatti, Cariappa, Telibagh and Barabirwa.

Diversion for vehicles coming from Kanpur Road

Large vehicles going from Shaheed Path-Kanpur Road intersection towards Sultanpur, Rae Bareli and Ayodhya Road will be sent through the alternative route via Barabirwa, Bangalbazar, Telibagh, Cariappa, Lalbatti and 1090 intersection.

Ban on big vehicles going towards Sultanpur Road

Big vehicles will not be allowed to move from Ahimamau towards Sultanpur Road. These vehicles will be sent towards Kisan Path via Kabirpur Tiraha.

Ban on going from Amul Tiraha to Ahimamau

Normal traffic will be restricted from Amul Tiraha towards Ahimamau. Vehicles will be able to go towards Shaheed Path from Lulu Mall Cut.

The route from Ahimamau to Plasio also changed

Direct traffic from Ahimamau towards Plasio will be restricted. The vehicles will proceed via HCL Tiraha, Sanskriti Tiraha and overhead roundabout.

Ban on autos, e-rickshaws and cabs also

Operation of autos and e-rickshaws will be prohibited on Shaheed Path and Service Road during the match. Apart from this, there will be a ban on boarding and dropping of passengers within 500 meters of Ahimamau.

City buses will run during the match

City buses will continue to operate during the match. However, buses will not stop between Husdaria and Sushant Golf City on Shaheed Path. During this period the buses will run on the right side of the road.
