Ranchi. In the second T20 match being played between India and West Indies at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi, West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and decided to bowl first.
He said that there is already a lot of moisture on the ground and the conditions could become more challenging as the game progresses. Seeing this, the team decided to bowl first.
There has been no change in the Indian playing eleven for this important match. In such a situation, Ranchi’s ‘local boy’ Vaibhav Suryavanshi will have to wait longer to make his debut in International T20.
At the same time, West Indies have made one change in their team and included Gudakesh Moti in place of Ford. Before the toss, there was tremendous enthusiasm among the spectators outside the stadium.
The spectators also had to face problems amid tight security arrangements. Due to lack of locker facility at the stadium gate, they had to deposit their bags and helmets at temporary stalls outside. For this the audience had to pay up to Rs 50.
Abhishek Sharma, wicketkeeper Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, captain Shreyas Iyer, Tilak Verma, Shivam Dubey, Naman Dhir, Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mayank Yadav and Arshdeep Singh have been included in the Indian team.
At the same time, apart from captain Shai Hope, the playing eleven of West Indies includes Kamil Puran, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd, Roston Chase, Shamar Springer, Akeal Hosein, Shamar Joseph and Gudakesh Moti.
