Director Prashant Verma has released the official teaser of his much-awaited film ‘Mahakali’ starring Akshay Khanna. In this film, Akshay will be seen playing the role of Asur Guru Shukracharya.
Three-film contract: Part of Prashant Verma’s cinematic universe
Prashant Verma, who directed the blockbuster film ‘Hanu-Man’ in the year 2024, has planned a series of about 12 films based on Indian mythology. ‘Mahakali’ is a part of this universe. According to sources associated with the film industry, Akshay Khanna will not be limited to only ‘Mahakali’. He will also reprise the role of Guru Shukracharya in two other upcoming films of the franchise — ‘Jai Hanuman’ and ‘Adhira’.
