I had never watched Bigg Boss and I did not even watch its episodes later. I came there after staying there only for one and a half month. It started in such a way that Jasleen used to come to learn singing from me sometimes. One day he came and told me that he was being called to Bigg Boss. I told him- Hey, your life has become perfect. Absolutely go. Jasleen then told me that the makers have set a condition that if you come as a strange couple, then you come with me.
'Jasleen had said – we both are having an affair'
'I had said that I don't even get time, then his father came and he also told me. Then I said let's go but will go as guru-disciple. They are also a strange couple. I sang a bhajan on the Bigg Boss stage and told Salman Khan that my student had come with me. She showed her item dance. After that she said that I am having an affair with her. After this, Jasleen's father and I had said in a conversation with the media that both of us together will do Jasleen's Kanyadaan. Then this controversy ended there itself. He said, 'No one saw us sitting in a restaurant nor at any party. Nor have I ever seen it while watching a movie. When no one had seen us, people understood that it was true. Anup Jalota had married three times
Apart from this, Anup Jalota also talked about his married life. He was asked whether your first marriage was painful? On this he said, 'My first marriage was very good, but after four-five years it became painful. After this my father said that I have a student. If you marry her, I agree. The second marriage also caused a lot of trouble. The divorce took place after just one year. The third marriage was very good, we lived together for 21 years. He told that later his wife suffered from heart disease. He got his heart transplanted. After which she lived for 13 years. Right now we have a son who lives in America. He said that marrying three times is not bad, but keeping three wives at once is wrong in our country.
