On the request of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Union Minister of Railways, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics and Information Technology Shri Ashwini Vaishnav has given important information regarding the construction of Railway Over Bridge (ROB) at Railway Level Crossing located at KM-01 on Defense Colony Motor Road in view of public convenience in Dehradun. The Union Minister has informed that the feasibility investigation of ROB construction is being conducted at the said place and necessary action will be taken after the feasibility investigation of ROB construction is completed.

Keeping in mind the increasing traffic needs in Dehradun and the convenience of the common people, the Chief Minister had put forward the issue of construction of ROB at the railway level crossing located on Defense Colony Motor Road before the Union Railway Minister. With the Central Government starting the feasibility study of this proposal, the people of the area have got positive hope towards improving the traffic facilities and traffic system at the railway crossing.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday inaugurated the stalls set up by self-help groups under the Chief Minister Sashakt Brahm Utsav Yojana in Dehradun. After visiting the stall, the Chief Minister encouraged the women associated with self-help groups. CM Dhami also bought Rakhis made by women of local self-help groups and appreciated their skill and hard work.
