Union Home Minister Amit Shah, at the Lokmanya Tilak National Award ceremony held in Pune on Saturday, advised young people to read Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak’s famous book, “Gita Rahasya.” He said that this book provides the right direction for life and that if young people read it with understanding, they can avoid making mistakes.
A Special Appeal to Youth
Addressing the ceremony, Amit Shah said that he had the opportunity to read Lokmanya Tilak’s “Gita Rahasya” in Gujarati. He said, “I urge the youth of the country to read Lokmanya Tilak’s “Gita Rahasya.” If you read this book and adopt its message in your life, you will never make a mistake in life. I guarantee this.”
He said that this book explains the practical aspects of the Bhagavad Gita in a simple way and shows how ordinary people can adopt the principles of the Gita in their lives.
Ajit Doval receives Lokmanya Tilak National Award
Union Home Minister Amit Shah presented National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval with the Lokmanya Tilak National Award during the ceremony. Shah praised Doval’s role in safeguarding the nation’s security and national interests.
No comment on student protests
The opposition has been demanding a response from Amit Shah regarding the recent student protests and the controversies surrounding them. However, during his address in Pune, he made no comment on the issue. Instead, he focused his entire speech on Lokmanya Tilak’s thoughts, his contributions to nation-building, and character-building among youth.
