Amravati Women Hospital Fire: A tragic incident has come to light from Amravati, Maharashtra. A massive fire broke out in the ‘Sick Newborn Care Unit’ (SNCU) built in the new building of the women’s hospital here early on Monday morning at around 3.30 am. The reasons behind the fire could not be confirmed. Three newborns died due to burns in the fire. The incident has created a stir in the area. Information is coming to light that normally 50 to 60 newborns are admitted in SNCU, which includes premature, underweight and seriously ill children. It is being said that the condition of the family members is bad due to the death of the newborns.
