Rishabh Pant retired hurt and returned to the pavilion
The very second ball of the 58th over of the Indian innings injured Pant. Lahiru Kumara hit a short ball and Rishabh Pant went to pull, but the ball was missed in his gloves. After this Pant immediately started feeling pain. It seemed that his wrist bone was injured. After this, the physio came to the field and applied an ice pack to stop Pant's swelling. Tape was applied on Pant's wrist for a while and then it was removed. After this the umpire talked to him and Pant had to retire hurt. Ravindra Jadeja came in his place.
