Arjuna Award: The Government of India has announced the National Sports Award 2025. This time, 17 players who have performed brilliantly in different sports have been selected for the Arjuna Award. These include players from many sports including athletics, badminton, boxing, hockey, chess, shooting and Kabaddi. The Sports Ministry has announced these awards on the basis of the recommendations of the selection committee.

Releasing the list of awards, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports said that every year players, coaches and institutions who have performed outstandingly in the field of sports are honored with the National Sports Award. This year, the decision to give awards to the players has been taken on the basis of the recommendation of the selection committee headed by former Supreme Court judge Justice (retd) Arun Kumar Mishra.
