As soon as the information was received, Kardhani police station reached the spot and took both of them out and took them to Kanwatiya Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.

According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Ajay, resident of Purani Basti and Rambabu, resident of Banipark. The bodies of both have been kept in the mortuary and will be handed over to their families after post-mortem. Prima facie the cause of death is believed to be suffocation due to poisonous gas. Here, Valmiki Safai Karmachari Sangathan President Nandkishore Dandoria said that this accident is the result of serious negligence.
