America ready to remove blockade from Hormuz
Strait of Hormuz: Iran is not ready to hold second round of peace talks with America. Iran is firm on its insistence and conditions. Iran says it will not abandon its nuclear program, as well as continue uranium enrichment. Iran also has a condition that it will not negotiate with the US until the US Navy lifts its blockade of Iranian ports. US President Donald Trump has been forced to bow down to these tough conditions of Iran. He announced to extend the unilateral ceasefire on Wednesday.
Trump ready to lift blockade from Hormuz
According to Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, Tehran has received signals that show that the United States is ready to end the naval blockade. If so, then it is a sign of America being pushed on the backfoot. Looking at Trump’s current soft stance, it seems that America may lift the blockade.
Trump did not say for how long the ceasefire was being extended, but once again he took the help of Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shahbaz to make his point. Trump said that at the request of Munir and Shahbaz, he will not attack Iran further until its leadership is ready to negotiate.
