Anil Ambani group’s assets worth Rs 3,034 crore seized in ED raid

New Delhi. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized new assets worth Rs 3,034.90 crore as part of its ongoing money laundering probe against Reliance Anil Ambani Group (RAAG) companies. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Central Investigation Agency said that ED has attached assets worth Rs 3,034.90 crore under PMLA, 2002 in the M/s Reliance Communications Limited bank fraud case.

According to the agency, the attached properties include a flat in Mumbai, a farmhouse in Khandala, land in Sanand and 7.71 crore shares of Reliance Infrastructure. Thus, assets worth more than Rs 19,344 crore have been attached so far in cases related to Reliance Anil Ambani Group.

The ED said the attached assets belonged to Reliance Communications (RCom) and Reliance Infrastructure Limited (R-Infra). These include a flat in Mumbai, a farmhouse in Khandala (a hill station in Maharashtra), some plots of land in Sanand (Ahmedabad) and 7.71 crore shares of R-Infra.
